At 3:00 am, on the sandy floor of a small, concrete bunker, Captain Lance Hayes sat waiting patiently. The wailing sirens and deafening cold heightened his senses. Though his fate at that moment was uncertain, he found himself completely content embracing sweet, crisp desert air as well as imminent danger. While appreciating the little things in that bunker on the border of Syria, Lance had a big idea- Campaign Whiskey - the purest embodiment of life’s journey.

Campaign Whiskey is a product of the culture. Its malty sweetness tied with date undertones come together in a creamy double-distilled, barrel-aged spirit. As a United States veteran and Houston native, Lance Hayes has always been able to acknowledge the value of the simplest aspects of the human experience. His successes can be attributed to experiencing the world's cultures while fully embracing his Houston, Texas roots. After having the pleasure of tasting whiskeys around the world, Lance noticed that there was little representation of modern social life and culture in the Small Batch Whiskey industry.
